To be threatened, not only a factions military ranking is being taken into account, but also their ability to defend their settlements.Įxample: A faction with huge armies that are all overseas and cannot defend their lands from nearby foes? They are really threatened and will confed rather easily. This is the most important thing, so wall of text following to explain. II: Are they threatened? No? Then forget about confederations. i looked at the factions even closer and didnt even see any parralels. So theres no "pattern" cristalizing out of this for me.
sometimes factions im in war with begging kinda for peace and are also willing to be confederated and others arent. sometimes even factions wich arent even in the top 5 of factions that like me are willing while the higher ones still dont do so.Īnd on the other side around also. Sometimes people that really like me are not willing to confederate and sometimes they do. i also got a good feeling of understanding the diplomacy system and how to manipulate factions in my favour.īut theres still one thing i dont really understand.
